ACA World Service Organization is hosting a 24 hour Christmas telephone meeting marathon.
The Holidays Can Bring Issues To The Surface That Don’t Show Up As Intensely At Other Times Of The Year. We Are Pleased To Announce A Christmas Telephone Meeting Marathon, Beginning At 12:00 Noon (ET) On Christmas Eve (December 24), All Day Christmas Day, Through 3:00 AM December 26. The Conference Number Is 712-432-8808; Conference ID 222247#. All Meetings Begin At The Top Of Each Hour, Run For 55 Minutes And Are Followed By 5 Minutes Of Fellowship. We Are Also Looking For Volunteers To Moderate. If You Are Able And Willing To Moderate One Or More Meetings, Please Write To Jonathan at itakebackmypower@gmail.com. Include The Days And Time Slots You Are Interested In. We Will Write Back With Confirmation Of Your Dates And Times. Suggested Meeting Formats Tailored To A 55-minute Meeting Will Be Provided. At the 2014 ABC, the Literature Committee distributed an early draft this document. It has subsequently been reviewed and approved by the WSO board for consideration by the fellowship. The Literature Committee further requests comments from the fellowship’s meetings and InterGroups. Please submit these comments to the WSO Literature Committee using the Contact Us web page. [ http://www.adultchildren.org/contact/ ] The WSO hopes to present the final version at the 2015 ABC for approval.
We encourage your groups to review this document, forwarding any comments as indicated. The announcement does not indicate how long the comment period lasts, so there may be some urgency.
