Silver Falls is a beautiful State Park, it has lots of waterfalls, a safe swimming area, hiking trails both long and short. This is a brief 90 minute journey from Portland, about 25 miles east of Salem, or 15 miles south of Silverton, for those who have enjoyed game days there! Activities include hiking for every skill and distance comfort level, there is swimming, and bringing snacks is always encouraged! It is a lovely place just to be!
